Everyone has their own giants that they struggle with. Below I’m going to list a few

  • Trust
  • Rest
  • Self- Worth
  • Bitterness
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Guilt
  • Grief
  • Pride
  • Worry
  • Abortion
  • Abuse

  • Divorce
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Lust
  • Sexual Purity
  • Pornography
  • Eating struggles
  • Communication
  • Marriage
  • Friendship
  • Confusion

So what are we going to do about these giants?

Doesn’t the bible say that the battle was already won? So why are we holding on, listening to the enemy cause havoc in our lives when Christ has already claimed the  victory.!

Is the reason because many don’t know how to battle? Or because you make a choice to listen to the lies the enemy throws at you.?

Lets take a look at what scripture says:

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts and passions. Do not go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities–sanctified, set apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God. For sin will no longer be a master over you, since you are not under Law [as slaves], but under [unmerited] grace [as recipients of God’s favor and mercy].’

ROMANS 6:12-14

I cry aloud with my voice to the Lord ; I make supplication with my voice to the Lord . I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare my trouble before Him. When my spirit was overwhelmed and weak within me [wrapped in darkness], You knew my path. In the way where I walk They have hidden a trap for me. Look to the right [the point of attack] and see; For there is no one who has regard for me [to act in my favor]. Escape has failed me and I have nowhere to run; No one cares about my life. I cried out to You, O Lord ; I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living. “Give attention to my cry, For I am brought very low; Rescue me from my persecutors, For they are stronger than I. “Bring my soul out of prison (adversity), So that I may give thanks and praise Your name; The righteous will surround me [in triumph], For You will look after me.”’

PSALM 142:1-7

All the ways of a man are clean and innocent in his own eyes [and he may see nothing wrong with his actions], But the Lord weighs and examines the motives and intents [of the heart and knows the truth]. ‘

And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.’

For this is the will of God, that you be sanctified [separated and set apart from sin]: that you abstain and back away from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor [being available for God’s purpose and separated from things profane], not [to be used] in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God and are ignorant of His will;’

I can go on and on with Scripture, but I’d rather you take your giants to the cross and leave them there, the battle is already won. Now its your choice to let go and be Christ like.

Romans 5:6-8

Ephesians 2:1-3

Titus 3:3

Titus 3:4-7

I want you to check these scriptures out for yourself. Know that you are loved, you are forgiven, you are the beloved child of THE MOST HIGH GOD. He bought you with a high price, and claimed you while you where still a sinner. The least you can do is let go and trust God. Defeat comes from worshiping, praying, speaking truth, obedience, humility and , love!
